Denton Slovacek grew up farming and ranching in the Texas and Oklahoma Panhandle. His undergraduate degree was from Friends University in Wichita, Kansas and he received his masters degree from Oklahoma State University. Denton served on the faculty at Northeastern Junior College for 13 years as an instructor in chemistry and the soil sciences. In 1989 Denton was hired by Clifford Hach to work with him on product development. During his 30 year tenure at Hach, Denton has managed the Hach Technical Training Center, Customer Support, and Technical Support. Since 2011 Denton has worked directly with customers and Hach sales as an Application Development Manager within the Industrial Markets. Denton also works closely with Hach R&D group in the development of new analytical technologies.
