H2S challenge : the liquid phase measurement is now available

Fri, Sep 20, 2024 10:00 AM CEST

Summary:

Hydrogen sulphide (H2S) is a well-known concern for wastewater treatment managers, and can lead to a number of problems: neighborhood complaints, corrosion and not least worker safety.

Faced with this intermittant risk for significant parts of the year, it is essential to identify the sources of emissions and implement effective strategies to reduce H2S production. Gaseous H2S monitoring alone is problematic as release and accumilation points are often distant from the route cause.

A reliable solution for measuring H2S in the liquid phase is now available to provide a better understanding of this problem. How does this technology work? What are the benefits?

Duration:1 hour

Agenda:

  • Reminder of the challenges of the H2S issues
  • H2S measurement in the liquid phase: probe operation and maintenance
  • Return on experience on the use of this probe in collection systems and wastewater treatment plants
  • Live Q&A session
